What is the Bible Way ... ?

It's more than a web site, or a slogan we can up with.  The Bible Way is a phrase that describes doing things in God's way - according to what He has revealed in His word.  It is a recognition that God is all-powerful and that He has told us how to live in a way that pleases Him.  We don't claim to "own" the Bible Way, only to be a group of people seeking to serve God on His terms.

What will I find at your worship service ... ?

When you join us for worship, you will find us praising God and encouraging one another in song and prayer, enjoying a bible-based message, partaking of the Lord's supper, and giving of our means.  We do not solicit contributions from our visitors.  We hope you will enjoy the service, but more importantly that God will be pleased with what we do.  Click here for detailed information about the Bible Way for worship.

Why doesn't your church use musical instruments... ?

There are a lot of reasons why a church might not have or use musical instruments in their worship service.  Our reason is simple - we don't find it authorized in the New Testament.  When referring to the worship, the New Testament provides two very similar verses - Ephesians 5:19 and Colossians 3:16.  Both of these verses mention using "psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs" in worship.  Both also mention singing.  No verse in the new testament indicates the use of musical instruments in the worship, so we don't.  Click here for more information on the authority of the scriptures.

Don't you guys think you are the only ones going to heaven... ?

No.  In fact the Bible teaches that Jesus is the author of eternal salvation for all who obey Him (Hebrews 5:8-9).  We can only look into the Bible, be obedient to the direction God has provided in it, and rely upon the love and grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to be saved.  It is certainly true that we believe the Bible plainly teaches what one must do to go to heaven, and we would be happy to discuss those teachings with anyone anytime.
